What's the weirdest, most unexplained thing that's ever happened to you?

When I was working as a bartender some older guy came in. Chatted him up, as we do... Dude asks me how old I was, I told him (w/e) Asks me again, but how OLD are you? in an intense way. I'm confused. So he tells me "Four yellow and one blue." Then he full on BOWS, says "Priestess," and walks backwards out.

Note: he drank nothing

It was so fucking weird. 15yrs, still think about it sometimes

OH! Was it you I chatted with briefly a little while ago? Where the baby came home and then had to go back into the hospital? Either way I'm thrilled.

I've just been thinking of the lady who posted about her family coming home from the hospital without the baby who was in the NICU and hoping they're all okay.

I would add to this, depending on the friend... sometimes instead of asking what you can: offer specifics.

I know in the depths of my depression it's so hard to articulate what I want and need. I don't feel worthy or deserving of it. But friends who offer to spend some time, or send some $ for takeway, etc... specific things can cut through that depression fog so much better than vague "how can I help?"

@Mrfunkedude I hear ya, I don't really care about follower numbers, for number's sake. What I care about is engagement. Not for clout, I couldn't give less fucks about that.
But because I'm lonely, and I want people to talk to. This place gives me that in a way that no other social media I've tried has. In large part because of the awesome #Today tag!

Fridays I have Shabbat dinner on Zoom with some ppl I absolutely adore. (I'm not Jewish but they've invited me to be part of this tradition with them).

I also get grocery deliveries on Fridays.

Definitely most excited about dinner :D

#Today I woke up pain-normal today, so like pain free but for broken ppl lolsob, had a nice long shower, washed my hair, then sat down with my latte (dark chocolate raspberry) and sold a frog!

That meant I got to order the Genki graded reader Box 1 *insert happy dance* (next frog sold is box 2!)

It has been a good day and I've only been out of bed for like an hour.

Had my morning coffee with Mr Forg today, and he was *very* insistent that he hopes you all have a fantastic day!
