Ono tyhle zpětnovazebné smyčky jsou problém na všech levelech: jak v politice, tak v ekonomice... jasně, že politice nemají manipulovat lidi, ale u firem, které reklamou manipulují poptávku, ti to přijde ok?

Americkým vojákům bylo řečeno, že válka má "zapálit signální oheň v Íránu" a nastartovat tím Armageddon, návrat Ježíše.

Nadace pro vojenskou náboženskou svobodu (MRFF) prý dostala 110 podobných stížností. Jednak část oslovených vojáků není křesťanského vyznání, ale kromě toho samozřejmě většina křesťanů ve světě i v USA nepatří k apokalyptickým sektám, snažícím se o doslovný výklad Bible.

Tvrzení ovšem není snadné nezávisle ověřit z jiných zdrojů. Přímo na domovských stránkách MRFF jsem to zatím nenašel. Organizace se předtím zabývala nátlakem na příslušníky ozbrojených sil, aby shlédli film Melania.

@albi Bohužel, i mezi mými známými panuje přesvědčení, že na těch emisních povolenkách někdo "hrozně vydělává" a ptají se "kam ty peníze jdou", apod.

Pravda je někde uprostřed. Když se může někomu vyplatit koupit ocelárnu jen kvůli emisním povolenkám a pak ji zavřít a prodat je, tak to podle mě nebyl úplně cíl, se kterým ty povolenky byly vydané.

Asi polovina členských zemí EU uznává místo povolenek uhlíkovou daň (jestli jsem se nepřekoukl). Asi pak ty povolenky za tu daň nakupuje stát a peníze se rozpouštějí ve státním rozpočtu (?)

Každopádně, chybná implementace povolenek je realitou, která by se měla diskutovat. On ten evropský systém ale není úplně identický s tím globálním, nebo nevím. Slyšel jsem, že v Kalifornii byly povolenky vydány za vysázení nějakého lesa, který při nedávných požárech lehl popelem. Fakticky by se ale měly povolenky začít za les uvolňovat až cca po 20 letech, kdy opravdu začne zásadním způsobem uhlík ukládat. A samozřejmě jen v případě, že do té doby nehoří...

Babiš s tímhle samozřejmě jen hraje na populistickou strunu, nicméně ten názor mezi lidma nešíří on, ale fosilní lobby.

@albi well, I described more or less generic feudalism, which was after all kind of stable social system for centuries. It was mixed economy, with some level of "free market" mostly among equals on the same level of hierarchy. The taxation was built in, but the point is, that "right wing" seldom means "zero taxes", like in libertarian utopias... it usually means, that lower levels of hierarchy pay some kind of taxes to higher levels. But if these taxes are collected as your actual surplus production, the overall welfare of the society doesn't need to be low... you expect, that the power will be abused, which is very likely, but on the other hand... statistically, you need only SOME enlightened elements in such society, not MOST of them. So it has approximately the same chance of failure, like any other combination.

The fact, that I included it as an does not mean, that I promote any of these options. "nuclear communists" are just extreme outcome of "industrialized social democrats", "nuclear monarchists" may be Microsoft powering their AI with nuclear powerplants... and not everyone supporting solarpunk utopia would like to be described as "hippie". (I voted for the solarpunk mutualism, BTW... as much I desire it, I am well aware of actual limitations)

I just needed to invent names for all four possible outcomes which you can get.

Of course, the "centrist" option is suggestive for those, who don't want to make such decisions. As I expected, seeking compromise is quite popular.

Actually, I wonder why "solarpunk bhutanism" is so unpopular. Paying tax or tribute to the sovereign (enlightened) landlord in the form of some fraction of the excess (unused) solar harvest is not the worst of possible ways to organize society... as long as I only have to fix my semi-autonomous energy node, when it is broken and I am not a wage slave...

But there is typo... "traditional", not "tradional". And I don't want to reset the poll numbers now...

@evan I admit I have analyzed list of my followers using Python script. I hope it is allowed 🙂

But I may write another script, which would identify the accounts, which are followed by most people I follow, but I don't follow them. This is what Twitter did somehow automagically, but at least, now I would know, where this data came from.

I don't plan to use AI for that, because... what else would my rudimentary programming skills would be good for, if not doing such things myself?

Is there special type of #ActivityPub status, which would have attributes of calendar event (date and time from - to), it's plain text portion would be capable of being viewed in normal #Fediverse clients, but at the same time, it would be presented as calendar, with chance for Fediverse accounts to join the event?

Joining by fav would be the easiest way, but perhaps there could be some mechanism, maintaimed by the instance hosting the event in the same way as polls, but different. Compatible ActivityPub clients would be able to show participants (joining publicly or privately would be nice... joining event may be special type of reply?)

According to the managing director of one German waste disposal company, Mydlovary is ‘the biggest hole in Europe’ for rubbish dumping.
