Today i did the 17th #Bike2Work ride.
Original plan was to do -5XL variant but since the flood we had yesterday wasn't safe to ride offroad so i did the -K instead.
It was 21°C and sunny and surprisingly there wasn't any wind. I did track A-K (21.2km, 255m ascend).
Since i skipped yesterday ride for the rain i was quite full of energy and i did the perfect ride...i destroyed the last year PR by 5 minutes! 😲

Yesterday i did the 16th #Bike2Work ride. It was 20°C and sunny, and previously in the early afternoon there was a small thunderstorm, so humidity was higher than usual.
I did track C-4XL (21.6km, 260m ascend) and i was sure already before the start i wouldn't be able to do PR. The day before i had blood donation and while riding i felt less powerful. Also heartbeat was lower than my usual, it wasn't going over 160bpm, not sure if only caused by the donation or also because i was still recovering from the thursday and friday rides.
So i failed PR by 2.5 minutes, will retry again for sure 😀

Some insights about #cycling commute season.

This year, so far, the average morning ride temperature is 9.4°C, varying from 5°C to 16°C, while afternoon morning ride temperature average is 19.1°C, from 12°C to 23°C.
Weather was quite ok during rides, i just had once a low intensity rain ride and once a fog ride.
Tomorrow afternoon there is a small risk of a rain ride...hope not though! 😀

Today i did the 15th #Bike2Work ride. It was 23°C and sunny and once again wind was against me. I did track A-4XL (20.9km, 235m ascend). Legs hurted a lot because of yesterday ride, and the S.Peter wall climb showed no mercy (16% steep) and i was only able to improve the best by 8 seconds!!! One of the closest improvement ever! 😅 let's say that last year i had wind in favour and not against...but anyway the important thing is to improve! 🤘

I hope, if weather is ok, to be able to improve the best of C-4XL on monday, because sunday i have blood donation and usually it takes few days to return at 100%...let's see! 😁

This year i rode 14 times (15 with today's one)
As of today i ride 1.6 times per week, an average which i want to improve during summer.
Keeping this average, i calculated that i could ride around 40 times in total until the end of september.
If so this would be the 2nd most commuted season, behind 2018:

Today i did the 14th #Bike2Work ride. It was 22°C and sunny and again wind was against me. I did track C-1XL (19.2km, 205m ascend).
I had great sensations despite the wind, heart rate was high just where i like and I improved the best by 3 minutes 💪😎

Now there are the hardest 6 paths for A and C variants that includes the steepest 18% ascend of S.Peter 😁

Today i did the 13th #Bike2Work ride. It was 20°C and sunny, unfortunately wind was against me. I did track A-1XL (18km, 185m ascend), but legs were a bit tired somehow.
Despite legs and wind against I improved the best by 1.5 minutes 💪😎 i gave everything in the last ascend 😁
