Today i did the 22nd #Bike2Work ride.
It was 28°C and sunny, wind was slightly in favour. Track was C-5XL (20km, 245m ascend).
Today i felt good, leg hurted a bit for yesterday ride, heart rate was low but i knew it because it's always low if i ride 2 days in a row...anyway i improved my best by ~4m! 💪

Final results: improved 20 of 22 PB 😎
Tomorrow i'm going to check ford status to see if B- variant is doable...if not...i have a B plan 😜

On the way home i encountered two scary dolls hugging trees...😅

Today's weather is 🌤 and temperature is around 17°C and it is a #Bike2Work #commute day! 💪
Today's path will be C-5XL and this ride will conclude the A- and C- paths. About those 2 pending PR in these paths i'm not sure if i will retry this year or keep them to beat next year. About neck pain, yesterday it didn't give me much problems and today i feel better, just a little remaining.

On this day in 2022 i did C-0 path in 49m22s (PR at that time, current PR 44m35s).

Today i did the 21st #Bike2Work ride.
It was 25°C and cloudy, wind was slightly in favour. Track was A-5XL (20.9km, 245m ascend).
Today i had good sensations, maybe just heart rate was a bit low, but on ascends was quite ok and i improved my best by ~5m! 💪
And this was a 2022 PR 😎

Today's path will be A-5XL which holds a 2022 PR. In 2023 i had strong wind against and couldn't beat the time. I hope today the neck pain won't hold me to get the PR...it appeared during running yesterday.

On this day in 2022 i did B-0 path in 45m13s (PR at that time, current PR 41m50s) and in 2019 i did A-5 in 53m21s (not PR at that time, current PR 44m11s).

But now some insights about #cycling commute season.

Yesterday i did the 20th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 24°C and sunny, side windy slightly in favour. Track was C-3 (18.3km, 190m ascend).
Sensations were a bit better than last ride, not perfect though.
Compared to last year ride, in the last down and up i was very slow, because the 'road' is very messy these days...in particular in the ascend part, last year i was able to ride ~80% of it. This year probably just ~20%...
Anyway i improved my best by 30s 💪

2 rides remaining to complete A- and C- variants! 😎

Friday i did the 19th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 18°C and cloudy, side windy. In the end i decided to do track A-3 (17.6km, 170m ascend).
For some reasons i didn't feel the legs well, like they can't spin at high cadence like i would. Also hear rate was lower than usual...maybe i was a bit tired?
Last part of the track (the down and up in the wood) was very muddy and grassy (can i say it? 😁 I mean very high height grass all over) but i managed to improve my best by 1min anyway 💪

Pictured in the image the dirt i collected from the road in the morning, not in the afternoon. No, not offroad but on paved road! Some bad farmers brought sand from the fields to the road and didn't clean it. After some light rain a film of mud appeared...it was slippery too, dangerous also for motorbikes or cars IMHO... 😠

There are 5 PR remaining to beat in A- and C- paths, on a total of 22, of which 3 i haven't tried this season. 💪

Today's weather is 🌞 and 🌬 (but this morning was very ☁ ) and temperature is around 15°C and it is a #Bike2Work #commute day! 💪

Some insights about #cycling commute season.

On this day in 2022 i did C-1 path improving previous best by 8min, while in 2023 i was riding the B-0 path improving by 3min the best time at that moment.

Today i'm not sure which path to do because it rained a lot this night and the only paths remaining are -3 and -5XL which contains offroad...i may retry those 2 path i already did this year (A1-XL or C4-XL) but without improving PR...will decide later 😀

Today i did the 18th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 19°C and cloudy, no wind at all. Very wet since it stopped raining an hour before the ride. I was very lucky for once 😁 I did track C-K (22.5km, 280m ascend).
After these 10 days of stop (well i trained anyway, but not commuted) i felt in great condition. Plus, every time it's wet or raining it's like i have a boost or something...so i destroyed the last year PR by 5 minutes! 😲

Some insights about #cycling commute season.

Today i returned to commute after 10 days (last ride 17/05) of stop due to the heavy rain that got us in these weeks. Since the start of the season there was only another stop >7 days, again 10 days (19/04-29/04) due to a mix of bad weather and holidays.
Still today i'm not 100% sure it will not rain on the way back so 🤞

...and since last time i commuted i forgot the stats post...double stats post! 😁

As of today i rode 17 of the 33 planned rides (~51.5%). So far i gained, in terms of time:
35m11s against 2023 rides
1h9m33s against 2022 rides
2h33m42s against 2021 rides
1h12m49s against 2018/2019 rides
💪

Another side note:
I'm not sure this year i will be able to ride B- variants. As of today water level is still too high to cross, and the ford infrastructure is compromised at the moment. I still hope however that in summer/late summer the situation would be better...
