17th of July i did the 35th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 32°C, hot but sun was partially behind cloud, wind was almost neutral and I did C-4XL (21.6km, 250m ascend).
Best was still a 2023 best because my first attempt this year was after the blood donation so i went easy.
I felt very good and destroyed the best by 2 minutes (4 minutes to the 1st attempt).

15th of July i did the 34th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 31°C, sunny, wind was slightly against in the first part but then helped a bit and I did A-K (21.2km, 250m ascend).
Very hot, didn't forced in the first part but luckily i was able to shave off my previous PR i scored this year by few seconds! 😀

Finished the D- path rides i checked once again the ford status to ride B- path rides.
Unfortunately ford isn't rideable at the moment...so i believe i can't ride B- this year... 🙁

As you can see, a big "wall" is present in the exit part, maybe it's like a meter high or so...
I also spoke to a guy and he said farmers currently can't do nothing because their tractors would sink into the muddy terrain, (currently under water and very wet and sandy), because their weight.

So for now i decided, at least before summer holidays (2nd week of august):
A-K (21.2km, 250m ascend, ~51min)
C-4XL (21.6km, 250m ascend, ~51min)
D-5XL (21.3km, 260m ascend, ~53min)

These will improve my hills resistance and form to do a great #RideOfTheYear (#RotY) in the holidays.

After the holidays i won't have big plans so i will reduce a bit the load from #bike activities to start looking for the #running season. Days will be shorter so i will do the previous rides but without the final hard ascend:
A-1XL (18.0km, 185m ascend, ~43min)
C-4 (18.3km, 180m ascend, ~43min)
D-5 (19.2km, 205m ascend, ~46min)

Then, if i still ride during September when running season starts (the plan is that), i will further reduce bike activity load:
A-1 (16.8km, 130m ascend, ~39min)
C-1 (18.0km, 150m ascend, ~42min)
D-1 (19.3km, 140m ascend, ~43min)

Until days will be too short (~first days of October) and dark season come, so i will switch to indoor training.

Of course this big plan will be thrown out of the window if a good soul fix the ford... ❤

11th of July i did the 33rd #Bike2Work ride. This concluded the ride of the D- paths, it was a nice introduction this year, will redo next year for sure.
It was 32°C, sunny, wind was slightly against and I did D-5XL (21.3km, 260m ascend).
Heat wave persisted, and specially in the offroad ascend humidity was off scale... 😮

9th of July i did the 32nd #Bike2Work ride.
It was 31°C, sunny, wind was slightly against and I did D-K (23.7km, 300m ascend).
Probably the first ride in the hot wave this year, and i decided to take the hardest path+variant on my commute list 😁

It was 28°C, cloudy, wind was slightly against then in help and I did D-3 (19.6km, 210m ascend).
I was a bit tired because of the ride the day before, and the forest i encountered in the last ascend didn't help 😛

1st of July Tour de France passed near the workplace, so i went to see the passage (by bike of course).
The passage itself lasted like 10, maybe 15 seconds? But it was an emotion to be there to see many champions i use to see just on tv.

Today i did the 28th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 30°C, quite hot but sun was partially behind cloud, wind was slightly against and I did D-4 (19.7km 205m ascend) .
Legs hurted a lot of course, because of yesterday ride, but i did a decent ride anyway. Now some well deserved rest 😪

Yesterday i did the 27th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 30°C and sunny, wind was slightly in favour and I did D-1XL (20.4km 225m ascend) .
It was quite hot and unlike last thursday i kept a good cadence without forcing, saving something for today, without sprinting on ascends (maybe will do today if i have enough energies).
Probably the day before i installed wrongly the speed sensor (i still have to move them from indoor bike to outdoor bike) and it fell luckily at bike place...so yesterday i run without it. Nothing wrong...GPS registered the speed anyway. 😀

On mondays i usually commute, but today it was raining too much so...
Summer indoor trainings setup with fan set to top speed 😁

For some reason the Tacx indoor trainer gave again some issues:
since this winter it reported low battery even with brand new battery, and since february it goes dead after few minutes on.
So for some months i started to used it turned it off (it can work turned off because magnets work anyway, i don't have power data though).
In late spring i tried again to turn it on and now can work again for the whole (40min usually) training despite the low battery alert.
But today it went off after 15 minutes, i let it rest 5 minutes then i tried to turn on again and it lasted another 20 minutes...it's a mistery! 😁 It's a bit old...now it has 9 years or so...

Friday i did the 26th #Bike2Work ride.
It was 28°C and sunny, wind was strongly against.
I choose to do D-0 (20.2km 190m ascend) before the farmers start ruining the offroad part in the last km with the water needed for the fields.
Legs hurted a lot because of the day's previous ride...was very tired...
