@privateger @atoponce We're not making any changes there, self-hosted organizations do not make up the majority of our teams + enterprise users, and our Enterprise offerings allow us to continue to offer free and self-hosted options.
@privateger @atoponce Also just wanted to share a recent response from Kyle, the founder of Bitwarden:

@tulpa You can create encrypted exports, just keep in mind that rotating your encryption key means you'll lost access to old exports if you don't use the CLI method.
You can also just export unencrypted into Verarypt or Cryptomator.
@tulpa Thanks for the feedback, and you're looking for something other than the export function of the CLI? https://bitwarden.com/help/cli/#export
@tulpa Thanks! We're always collecting feedback to improve the experience ?
@cmhobbs @thor To see what the Bitwarden team does to keep your information secure, check out https://bitwarden.com/tips/#can-anyone-insert-code-into-the-bitwarden-codebase
@thor @cmhobbs If it helps, we also partner with security researchers at HackerOne as part of a bug bounty program, and undergo regular third party audits.
How to Create and Store a Backup of Your Bitwarden Vault ?
https://bitwarden.com/resources/guide-how-to-create-and-store-a-backup-of-your-bitwarden-vault/
@healthiswealth Great question! Bitwarden only uses Firebase for push notifications and Visual Studio for crash reporting (not user tracking).
You can also use the F-Droid build which has these removed.
Additionally, Turning off push notifications on a self-hosted Bitwarden server will disable using the push relay.
