Two facts about dogs:
1: They have great internal clocks.
2: They do not understand Daylight Saving Time.

Dragon candy chute #halloween
It’s so funny how many kids feel the need to say they know there’s a person behind the dragon head.
I have a voice changer to make my voice very low pitched, and ever time I respond, “No, I’m a dragon.”
@verge @darnell Okay. The article you linked mentioned three, same for other articles I’ve seen, so you’re now speaking about a dataset that I don’t have. That said, I don’t know why you’d jump to take Musk’s side, especially since these are far from the first or only such accusations about him.
@FlashMobOfOne I’m sorry you’re having to go through that right now, hope it goes as well as such things can
@darnell @ai6yr You inspired me to look for a way to block certain sites from searches, and there are plugins for that: https://support.google.com/websearch/thread/2601677/how-do-i-exclude-block-specific-web-sites-from-search-results
@darnell Wow, that source is wildly biased! San Francisco is a "crime and drug ridden district of Dem-run city"? And apparently she ran away voluntarily. This article makes it sound like she was forcibly kidnapped.
PSA for college students: prerequisites are courses that you must take before enrolling in another course.
There are ALWAYS prereqs. No, you can't get around them or get the instructor to let you in anyway—they know it's more trouble for them if they have to also teach you basic skills you should already have.
Skipping prereqs is not in your best interest. And it's the biggest cause of graduation delay I see as an advisor.
Know your prereqs—or talk to your advisor!
Saw a thing about using LLMs (so-called "AI") for gift ideas. All these things are doing is scraping existing gift guide articles and regurgitating the same tired suggestions.
I have some better, easier ideas for you. So here is a quick thread—the JJ Litke Holiday Gift Guide.

I really really wish blue state liberals understood how well voter suppression in red states is working.

I don’t get why people keep acting like building networks here is so hard. You just follow people. Want news? Follow orgs, journalists, and people who boost news. Look at and use hashtags. Check your local and federated feeds to find new people (just like the birdsite algorithm).
It does take work to get started on any new platform, but I think #Mastodon is worth the effort.
