   @jjLitke I agree. If I can find plenty of people on a solo instance, then people can do the same on large instances.

     I don’t get why people keep acting like building networks here is so hard. You just follow people. Want news? Follow orgs, journalists, and people who boost news. Look at and use hashtags. Check your local and federated feeds to find new people (just like the birdsite algorithm).

     It does take work to get started on any new platform, but I think #Mastodon is worth the effort.
