@lain we watched a holiday netflix movie last month. the dad was in a band, as the singer. when they finally played a song at the end i was all “this has a strong weezer vibe.”

the rest of the band was in fact weezer.

@lain if i had noticed who posted it i would have caught on to the bit earlier on!

@lain they’ll say whatever they feel they need to say to get elected, like it’s a core personal belief, and then go do whatever they want.

@goatsarah @stavvers @ovid they are not low voltage. normal house style. and the dimmers are made for leds (which are also made to be dimmed). most are cheap, but some others do it, too. even at full power. what bulbs won’t do this?

@lain good thing i’m from america!

@lain there was an older than typical guy in some of my classes with a seeing eye dog. welding accident. spark went up his nose and cut the nerves for his eyes and his nose. so he can’t even smell food to know if it’s still good! nor see nor smell fire, etc.

he seemed well enough adjusted to it, tho.

@stavvers @ovid our led lights sometimes flicker. no idea why. it’s kinda annoying. some people are especially sensitive to and bothered by this.
