One thing has become clear about Trump voters: They don't believe him.
They don't believe him when he says he will be a dictator on his first day (Mrs. Roberts referred to that as "crazy comments"), suggesting she thinks it's just trump saying something crazy, but not what he'll actually *do*).
I've seen this with other conservatives I have talked to. The repeatedly say things to the effect of "Trump says a lot of crazy stuff, I don't like what he says, but he's a good President".
He already tried to overthrow a free and fair democratic election. If you haven't seen already that he absolutely does want to be a dictator, I don't understand how you have missed it, and don't believe him when he says stuff like he's going to get revenge on Democrats because he is being prosecuted for his crimes.
@georgetakei "Poor Ron" - He went full Nazi, and even the Nazis hate him. It must suck to have such profound evidence that absolutely nobody likes you.
Suggestion to Queer.af users (and other fediverse users in general):
Establish an OpenPGP key pair, and post the public key to your original (ie. queer.af) profile.
Then, when you migrate, you can sign a post with your private key on the new instance wherever you land, and that will create a chain of identity from one instance to another.
1) This dude seems very insecure. Look, if she gon' cheat on you, she'll find a way, trip or no trip. You gotta trust your wife. If she does cheat on you, well, you decide what you are going to do about it then. You can't control your spouse and shouldn't try.
2) What, can't he take care of his own damn kids for a few days. This "makes me feel guilty about having young children and still wanting to go" - dude, everyone needs a break sometimes, no matter how much they love their kids.
Give her a break, be a dad and take care of your children for a few days or a week, whatever, and when she comes back, she'll be happier, less stressed, and probably missing you and the kids and ready to spend some quality time with her family.
Be a true partner, not a parasite who expects the woman to do everything and never get a break.
On a more serious note, everyone needs to read the Lord of the Flies. I read it many years ago, going to read it again.
We are basically literally living the Lord of the Flies. Biden is Ralph. Donald Trump is Jack.
It really is crystal clear. We have a choice between good government that tries to work for everyone's benefit, or savage dictatorship to serve one person's ego.
Say what you will about #DonaldTrump but I've never seen ANYONE single-handedly get as many bad lawyers disbarred, sued, and indicted. He's really performing a public service.

I make all my code with C99, because life is just more fun when you are never sure if there is a buffer overflow, pointer redirect, or other massive security exploit hidden somewhere in all those handmade lines of code.
Who doesn't love to live on the edge and take risks?
@georgetakei Why is nobody asking Trump and his cronies who are working this - "What if Biden or some other Dem did this? Would you be comfortable with a Democratic President having that much power to do whatever they want?"
@georgetakei Has MTG become part of the War on Christmas? How dare she!? How DARE she sell "Christmas" sweaters and papers that don't even say Merry CHRISTmas??!?
@georgetakei I'm old enough I remember as a kid in the 80s being taught about how horrible the Soviet Union was because you coudn't freely travel around the union without needing official permission and being stopped at checkpoints by police and demanded "show me your papers" and Republicans looked at the USSR and decided that sounds like a great idea.
@georgetakei So the thing is, Trump keeps losing his claims about attorney client privilege because of the crime-fraud exception, so he no longer has any value in claiming her as his attorney, because he is not going to be able to claim privilege anyhow.
@georgetakei I think it's kind of harmful to portray every decision by the President as some game of political payback - Republicans would love for voters in Alabama to think this.
Is there some reason to believe this wasn't just the result of an analysis of the merits of moving the HQ vs keeping it where it is?
Presidents shouldn't make decisions to punish states for their Senators. They should make the decisions that are in the best interest of the nation, and I, for one, am inclined to believe that's what Biden did.
