@dalias spf does look straightforward. Dmarc I'm really not sure about, and dkim might be too far (or may have to move all family smtp to my server instead of their own Gmail etc, though not sure how they have it configured really)

Trying to get my head around spf and dmarc. Once again trying to lessen my dependence on Google, but have my whole family hanging on the same domain which complicates things a bit

@fribbledom the main reason I'm on my 2nd prusa printer is because of their commitment to open source

@neil given users of adult content site are most likely to use email aliases or unique addresses, I'm not sure how validating a unique email address is going to produce an age estimate. I guess +aliasing is easy to strip off, and maybe domain wildcard emails are not that common?

@silverwizard @neil @chrisshaw I've never worked on life crtitcal software, but planes and medical devices do have these guarantees. None are open source though. Perhaps you get what you pay for?

@chrisshaw @silverwizard @neil yeah, was going to add that most software agreements, even big corporate ones, limit any liability massively, and any warranty is a paid for discretionary extra. Can't see how safety features would be any different
