@feditips@pfefferle There's only me writing on this blog so the author address would do the same thing. Will try that if waiting until it federates doesn't work, thanks!
Username is "blog@valdyas.org" (which gives all the mastodon posts with "blog" somewhere in the text) and profile URL is https://valdyas.org/irina/fo3/@blog (which gives no results at all). Yes, I did click "save changes". I edited it in the "settings" page, and it showed up in the "welcome" page like this.
@feditips I must have done something wrong because I can't get it working! I have the ActivityPub plugin but it doesn't generate a feed, just irrelevant search results (I called the feed blog@valdyas.org and it gives all mastodon posts with "blog" somewhere in the text). Help?
Lübeck, at dawn. Which we're not seeing nearly enough of but we might consider it for a city trip sometime because it's no further from home than Berlin, after all.
@pettter I have reservations for all the other trains, not through the app but through the website. I've tried the Finnish railways website but they want to sell me tickets with a reservation, and obviously we don't need tickets but I haven't found a way to buy only a reservation. We'll just take our chance. I can't believe that the Helsinki-Oulu train will be completely full.
Dear interrail website: I know what a seat reservation is! I know reservation isn't mandatory for this train! I want to reserve anyway, as you tell me I can! Why don't you give me a way to actually do it, *as you did earlier* when I wasn't sure the hotel would be able to print it? Oh, and also, I don't need more information because all of the "more information" is either irrelevant or I already know it!
Okay, it says reservation "included" but doesn't tell us which seats we have. If I go to the "I don't have a pass yet" reservation page, an option to reserve appears but it was greyed out, perhaps because I was in fact logged in and the site knew I had a pass. Well, we'll just go to the station early and find the train and grab the seats we want.
I saw a bird built like a grebe, swimming like a grebe (body quite far into the water), possibly slightly larger than an ordinary crested grebe and almost completely black, with a greyish crest. It was in the city moat in Gent (Belgium). What could it be? (Wanted to take a picture but it swam away very fast while I was getting my phone out)
