@sun the only one I ever lived with solo was like a 93% match overall and it was in many ways pretty great while it lasted

saw my therapist today and now that I'm 5 sessions in, I do quite like her. the fact that she has ADHD herself is a major bonus, because my top priority has been getting myself back onto my own damn system for getting things done (challenge 1: remembering they exist), and she knows wtf I'm talking about when I bring up executive dysfunction snafus that normies can simply never understand on a bone-deep level. it might seem like a small thing, but what a relief that shared understanding is.

@tk I have accounts on a couple different servers as I tend to shard my identities by interest... are you looking for decent ones?

I made my accounts maybe close to 2 years ago and have used them sporadically between then & now

so as part of quitting slumming on reddit, yesterday I went thru and found some Lemmy-adjacent communities. I already had the Thunder and Voyager clients installed on my phone, so as I use those I'll figure out which I like best.

it's still pretty small, with fairly fragmented communities, in that a given topic might have 6 communities on various instances, 4 or 5 of which are completely or mostly dead. #threadiverse

I'm actually considering blocking reddit on my router and relying on archive dot org when I come across a search result I need for solving a problem

reading that SNES article makes me want to play Darius Twin while eating Pizza Hut pizza.

last I checked, which was many years ago, Darius Twin was one of the SNES games that was a bit challenging for emulators. probably long since fixed, I don't play games much, especially console games (my fine motor ability is okay for keyboard + mouse, not sufficient for handheld controllers)
