saw my therapist today and now that I'm 5 sessions in, I do quite like her. the fact that she has ADHD herself is a major bonus, because my top priority has been getting myself back onto my own damn system for getting things done (challenge 1: remembering they exist), and she knows wtf I'm talking about when I bring up executive dysfunction snafus that normies can simply never understand on a bone-deep level. it might seem like a small thing, but what a relief that shared understanding is.
