The guy who just taught my kids Go at the library said the two best tools for learning to think are Go and Talmud. Go for cause & effect and Talmud for asking good questions.

This is not my project, but I think it is possible to cooperativize some aspects of the UX stack even if aspects of the core network are centralized. And perhaps even support the plausibility of "credible exit."
@douginamug still figuring this one out, but I think there is a need for cooperativizing Bluesky infrastructures like PDSes, feeds, labelers, relays, etc.
Chrome seems like a reasonable candidate for a cooperative. It could be jointly owned and paid for by the browser makers that leverage it for their own products. Keep the engine improving with no more need for spyware.

I think liberals consistently fail to understand how much US culture is saturated in a cowboy/gangster/disruption ethic that privileges risk over safety and greatness over equity.
There are virtues to this ethic. But it also comes with a legacy of brutality that is only too visible right now.
