#Socialcoop friends: who has never been on a working group in our community and would like to try? I'm leaving the Finance Working Group after being on it basically from the start. We need some new energy and new ideas. Is that something you can offer?

@ntnsndr I've expressed interest in supporting the legal wg and even had a couple of initial conversations with @ktoddbrown and @andrewe but it doesn't seem like that has legs. If that isn't going anywhere then I may be able to plug in here instead. Or maybe legal stuff could be folded into finance domain? Happy to help, just let me know how to best support.

What kind of time commitment is FWG? I'm spread pretty thin, but if there's a need... I would bring a burning desire to provide livable wages to all the techies, moderators, etc. that keep it up and running. -

@steveediger Thanks for considering it! Good question. Here's largely what my involvement consisted of, though members could change their own expectations:
- Quarterly hour-long meetings to review the finances and surface any issues
- Occasional approval of payments on Open Collective
- Occasional focused efforts, like drafting an annual budget, passing proposals with the membership, etc. It's a great way to get a sense for how the co-op works.
