@d_pechkin @erabo my iguana once re-programmed the light controller in terrarum. he pressed some buttons with his claws and then I noticed the light in terrarium started to get on and off at some strange times. so iguana was a bit of a programmer too :)

@seb people mistake using of Fediverse for centralized social networks they used to. they think they should join "the largest server" to have many connections. I tried to explain the idea of Fediverse to newcomers. that decentralized network works in different way. but people are anyway stuck with the idea of "Mastodon as a replacement for Twitter".

но факт, что отпечатки пальцев, пардон, для "экзамена для работы на железной дороге" - это страшнее, чем приложенный к сковороде палец. это слежка за людьми и одна большая зона.
а можно было поступить проще: отрезать палец у того, кто прошёл экзамен.

I'm a professional C/C++ programmer, I use Linux and deal mainly with system programming, back-ends, networks, high-load data processing. I fond of music, play all kinds of basses, cello, learn to play tenor-sax and take lessons of academic vocals (wide ranged big voice). I've got reptile pets. I fluently speak Russian and English, learn Italian and know some other languages a little.
