Don't remove IT user functionality or tell the user that you will do so, unless you have a viable alternative for them. Understand their needs first and have a plan of action for addressing them.

Yes, their food was delicious. But they also had hang ups about everything that wasn't part of their limited cuisine and wouldn't even try most of the cuisines you have available to you today.

A month and a half ago I survived a week overseas just carrying around a cabin luggage sized backpack. Now kid needs a huge suitcase for a 2 night school camp (cabins) and can't even fit in all the rubbish the school demands they take.
