Trying out Matrix clients again. Still not impressed.

@lanodan But it's always the ugly plants that are winning the battle.

Reasons not to work in the yard:
- It's too hot
- It's too cold
- It's too wet
- I'm finally motivated to code
- There's a furry fashion contest in Guild Wars 2 that I absolutely must attend

I'm starting to think it's easier to implement new features on the master branch and keep them hidden behind a config flag, than it is to maintain separate feature branches. :blobcatthinking:

@lanodan Lots of people disagreeing with the inclusion criteria, or demanding that VNDB also cover their other favorite niche game genre.

I keep telling them to create their own database, but it never happens...

I thought of a way to add some sort of federation support to VNDB, making it easier for people to run their own derivative databases.

While that is super awesome, it's also going to be a shitton of effort to implement, and I'm not seeing much enthusiasm from the community about running VNDB clones. People much rather complain. :blobcatoh:

@wolf480pl @lanodan Nope, Elm is severely lacking in abstraction capabilities. I wouldn't know how to write a cleaner version without introducing additional dependencies.

I think I just summoned a heavy thunderstorm by reading a Lovecraft story again after a two year break. The timing is too perfect to be a coincidence.

That reading break must then have been the reason for the drought lately. Sorry, nature, I'll keep reading more regularly from now on. :blobcatfearful:
