I just discovered all public transportation in Luxembourg is free.
As in: free. Hop on a bus, a tram, even a train. It's all free. And I love this so much I can't even express it. This is so great.

The pub that's full of cat girls and cat people in general?
I approve of this message.

Whoever did this is a GENIUS. Period.
(Your weird picture of Paris for the day)
There is a monster roaming the streets of Paris at night. Please be careful.

Yup.
Tried the usual remedies and nothing works.
Anyhoooo...
Tomorrow, I will have to analyze and convert 2.9GB of SPDX files to try and make sense of the whole bloody system.
Computers were a mistake, I am telling you.
I have no idea where to start, but I have got my Python environment ready to go, so there is that.
SPDX seems like a nice idea, until...
>>> import spdx_tools
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'spdx_tools'
Wait, what?
(env) $ pip list
Package Version
------------------ -------
spdx-tools 0.7.0
Err...
import spdx-tools ->
ModuleNotFoundError
import spdx_tools ->
ModuleNotFoundError
from spdx_tools.spdx.model.document import Document -> ModuleNotFoundError
Go home, Python, you drunk.
That also helps, yes.
Just 4, really.
1. Containers, LXC, Docker.
2. Kubernetes (and its many versions).
3. Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
I keep saying the failures of the Biden Presidency were:
1 - Not accepting Joe Biden was a one-term President, and that a campaign to elect another Democrat should have started on day 1.
2 - Not throwing Trump in prison (they had every reason to do so).
3 - Not realizing that the economy was bad for the average person, despite the huge gains of the stock market.
History will judge him harshly, I am afraid.
Try claws-mail - I used Sylpheed for years and loved it to death and claws-mail seems to be its successor.
Also: never had an issue with Thunderbird under OpenSUSE 15.6 so I am curious about what happened.
I believe the reason is simply that most EU politicians have realized there is no use, and no benefit, in dealing with the USA.
The EU focus is now on the Eastern side of the union. In other words: how do we deal with Putin once Trump decides to break up NATO and withdraw all US troops from Europe?
The issue at hand is the US military. The EU would like the Yanks to stay put for as long as possible, in order to prepare for the 'inevitable' clash with Russia.
And so, it avoids criticizing the orange idiot in the White House for the time being.
In this, it follows the US doctrine at the start of the Iraq war, which was at the time: "Ignore Russia, Forgive Germany, Punish France". The current EU doctrine being: "Ignore China, Forgive the US, Punish Russia".
Sabre-rattling by Russia is definitely NOT improving relations. I hope cooler heads will prevail but it seems to me the Kremlin has started believing its own B.S.
Let's face it: Russia is slowly being bled dry by the attrition in Ukraine. Remember how that was supposed to be over in 2 weeks, tops?
Sure, it is slowly advancing, but at a terrible human & resource cost. Overall, EU and US weapons are making a huge difference because they are vastly superior.
OK, I'll bite:
According to research by the think tank RUSI, when Vladimir Putin began his invasion, he expected to take control of Ukraine within 10 days. [...]
But don't take my word for it:
Dumb and Dumber are talking about each other on Twitter.
Thanks, I'll pass.
As a kind reminder, a majority* of Americans elected Dumbo President.
Not just once, but TWICE.
Let me repeat this, for the people in the back: a majority* of Americans elected Dumbo President not just once, but TWICE.
And I am willing to bet a lot of Americans still think Dumber is a swell guy.
Follow me for more unfunny facts.
(* yeah, yeah, yeah, we can argue until we are blue in the face, but the fact is, that dumb guy is President. And you are not. You are welcome.)
Yeah, there is still room on this desk. ๐
I wrestle penguins and spiky fishes for a living. Very cranky old *nix geek with a beard. You know the type. (now, get off my lawn!)."I support transgender rights. Trans rights = human rights."#nobridge#nobot#noai
