The companies that use slave labor from the camps must be identified and shunned by consumers. It may be the only say we have.
Reposting from another account with alt text in the hope that it gets a lot of boosts.

I think it's a matter of time before the statue of liberty is deported and replaced on the pedestal with a Doberman Pinscher with a spiked collar mauling a guy in a turban.

The senator is on-point: Sen. Padilla labels Trump as a 'tyrant' in Senate speech - YouTube

The Trump regime just keeps creating Democratic heroes. Senator Padilla the most recent.

And Trump's birthday parade was the most low-energy...
After more than 11M No Kings protestors showed up across the country (don't know if this number is verified) vs only about 10K for Trump's birthday parade (they planned for 200-400K), this image from de Adder has never been more appropriate, and Trump has never been weaker.

Trump is working to become a dictator. Republicans' entire job is to spread lies and Trump's fascist propaganda.
Anyone who can't see the need to stand up to this is a hopeless collaborator. The choice will never be more clear. https://www.nokings.org

Perhaps the most unintentionally funny tweet about the Battle of the Raging Narcissists is this one trying to frame it as a debate.
I've seen more debate-like exchanges from middle school girls who like the same boy. We all have.

Betting on anything that depends on Elon's 'genius' is a sure way to kiss your money goodbye.
The US is now a terrorist state.
The perception that there has been less activism in 2025 is simply wrong, a function of lazy and shuttered corporate- and billionaire journalism. The Harvard Crowd Counting Consortium noted that in 2025 โour research shows that street protests today are far more numerous and frequent than skeptics might suggest.โ In fact, โsince 22 January, weโve seen more than twice as many street protests than took place during the same period eight years ago.โ
Sometimes I am really proud to live in NJ! First Booker, now Sherrill.
Ah! So, mostly just the people most likely to question Matt's decisions.
Re the requirement for suits in the Oval Office: Were I a congressman, I would sponsor a bill requiring members of Trump's cabinet and visiting GOP legislators to wear an organ grinder monkey suit while in the Oval Office, not to be considered complete without the traditional cap.
I'm a little worried about a scenario where the SSA decides I'm dead (and stops putting my hard-earned benefits into my bank account). A couple of months ago, my daughter informed me, after doing an online ancestry search, that I was dead. I looked, and sure enough, I was shown as having died. Took a week or so to correct it; I imagine it would take longer to convince the government.

Fascists start by marginalizing and brutalizing the most vulnerable populations, and work their way up from there as the general population accepts it. Fascism feeds on racism, misogyny, and othering.
Example: Musk referring to people who disagree with him as NPCs (non-player characters) is an example of othering, no different than Nazis in 1939 referring to jews as vermin.
"Trump and Elon Musk donโt need Putin to tell them what to doโthey already want the same things. Theyโre trying to create the same kind of society: one that is too ignorant to see clearly whatโs happening in time to stop it, and so afraid that people are willing to believe thereโs no point in even trying."

If the Democrats are gonna get any money from me, they're going to have to get angry and forceful in their resistance to Trump, Elon, and Putin, et al.
Kudos to AOC and a few others, but for the most part, Democrats seem to be keeping their heads down.

Blatantly, unabashedly pro-democratic socialism. Ex-Michigan farmboy makin' it work since 1958 (born in 1953, but coasted for a few years). Proud and concerned father, grandfather, dog dad, and atheist. Emigrated from New Mexico high desert to New Jersey lake, spring 2022. Used to be a whitewater canoeist, now happy paddling a quiet lake. ClassicPress/WordPress developer; websites for real estate agents. I smoke a pipe, therefore I'm a philosopher. Oxford comma because I'm civilized.
