@bot@alex@lain@parker@graf@crunklord420@mint@Moon there are potential "issues" with removing meta data that might affect 0.1% of people. E.g. a photography instance may wish to have a "remove metadata" option turned off.
But yes, it should be turned on by default. Removing meta data is pretty simple with exiftool (it can even be used to check mimetype (and get past the simple trick of changing the extension)).
@lain It would be nice if there was an option to mute/block NSFW posts.
Take pic related - I don't want to block / unfollow anyone in the picture, but I also don't want to see the NSFW post.
Currently the post is taking up a huge amount of screen real estate. This means that you have to scroll a lot to pass it. Some may habitually click (or be tempted to click) to reveal the image, despite ultimately not wanting to see NSFW images.
Again, I think it would be nice to be able to mute/block NSFW posts.
>hip-hip hurray, hip hip hooray >This term was used by German citizens during the Holocaust as a rallying cry when they would hunt down Jewish citizens living in segregated neighborhoods. Going to need a citation on that one lmao
@scalar How would you feel about filling out something like this? I think it would be a nice resource for people to get a high level view. CC @MechaSilvio
one issue is when minimizing a thread (e.g. in local) it doesn't go back to the right place. E.g. hitting collapse in pic related will scroll me down the page (potentially past posts which I have yet to see)
another issue is that when opening a reply in a new tab it doesn't shift the focus to the reply (instead it leaves it on the OP)
Some good rhetoric: >Native Americans also make up about 1-2% of the population, wouldn't it be odd if they were in 42% of his episodes - people would comment on that but they aren't willing to comment on jewish over-representation.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad@dave I know grown (libtard) men who watch "pro" women's sports (and I'm not even talking about tennis, which is somewhat bearable)
