This is another one of those weird movie admissions. I've not seen Risky Business til just now. I'm in the middle of it, in fact.

When the fascists in power get desperate, I suspect they'll try to limit access to the internet, or find a way to shut it down in some way so we can't use it to organize against them (HIM). I've been looking for some alternative tech and had heard about this Mesh stuff, so I'm going to need to dive in and educate myself.

Today I finally recapped the Eico 379 that K gave me. I cut the old axial electrolytics out, and soldered in (hook and loop style) some new radial electrolytics. As you can see, the leads needed to be extended. When I need wire to do that I use the wires inside thermostat wire. You can buy 7-conductor versions, so if you need color coding, you'll' have 7 colors.

All of the transistors have lots of black corrosion on the leads, so I will replace all of them.
