clackeDo you have a success story to share, where you were working on solving a use case in your department, you found someone in an unrelated department with a similar or overlapping use case – this implies that your company is large enough that you have departments that are seldom in touch – and you managed to create a shared vision, work together to solve both use cases, and avoid duplicate development?
S04E01 starts out strong, with two twists that will ensure that the material stays fresh, and that Alan Tudyk gets to flex his capabilities more than ever.
@gemlog Yes. Living separated for 2--3 years gave us both perspective and time to heal enough that we're better together than apart. We gradually came to a point where we're together again.
Pokemon Go killed my battery last year, and the battery I replaced it with is still almost as good as new.
This happens in all browsers. The ordering platform that almost all the restaurants here use changed something about a year ago; Before then they ran smoothly. It was one restaurant at first, and then the others followed. Some restaurants have their own systems and they're stlll good.
My six-year-old phone is powerful enough to play 3D games and Pokemon Go, but I need to get a more powerful one that doesn't need a whole minute or more to open the online menus at restaurants.
There's at least one restaurant where the menu doesn't come up at all. My wife's phone from four years ago opens all of these in seconds, no problem, same browser.
Taking my laptop and headset into the bathroom, because it has thicker walls and I won't need to scroll past literally dozens of Bluetooth devices to find the one I want to pair with.
How many languages are spoken in "John Wick: Chapter 3"?
I found some posts out there with answers like "I think I heard some Indonesian, some ...", but not a proper nerdy post that states with confidence and receipts how many languages there are.
Here's my own useless "I think I heard ...":
- English, of course - His Ruska Roma family speaks Belarusian or Russian, I'm assuming they made it interesting and switched between both - Folks in Casablanca would speak Arabic and/or Berber - His big fan Zero speaks Japanese - People online said Zero's minions speak Indonesian
@strypey It's big and empty, compared to China. That doesn't entirely work as an excuse though. Mostly US infra is a policy failure rather than a natural consequence.
The movie is dedicated to the memory of Tony Todd.
Franchise fans know him as William Bludworth of FD1, FD2, FD5 and now FDB, horror fans know him as a bunch of other characters.
As a Star Trek fan, I know him as Old Man Jake in DS9 and Worf's brother Kurn in TNG, and I just learned he was also the Moclan ambassador in honorary Trek series The Orville.
69 is not a fair age to die. It was stomach cancer, and he was already dying as he committed to playing a part in this movie honoring his previous work. He passed away in November last year, soon after performing for this film.
