Funnily enough, the Apollo wallpaper pack that was released to help the dev with refund costs had wallpapers from people who developed Twitteriffic and Tweetbot, of their mascots hanging out. Was real sweet.

The more I move on from Reddit after the third party client lockout, the more I realise how much of a fucking miserable site it actually is.

Reddit did not deserve projects like Apollo or Reddit is Fun in the slightest.

It used to be that you could append a search result for “best whatever” with “reddit” to get some human results, especially with subreddits like r/BuyItForLife. Too bad the CEO decided to be an arrogant shit and make the site worse for everyone.

And even that has its limits when the culture of the community that revolves what you’re asking for doesn’t like the question in hand. Two months ago I wanted to get a PC built for me by a reputable manufacturer. I have issues with my mental health which means I couldn’t spend £2k+ on components and risk breaking them and having all that money down the drain. There were a lot of people asking this question on Reddit but they always had the PC builders replying “build it yourself” and not actually answering the question.

According to Caddicarus… again, the Crash Bandicoot one has a very fruity, mango flavour, then nose-dives into a bitter aftertaste.

Shouldn’t that be Crash Bandicoot instead? Spyro cleans himself in his idle animations. Crash is definitely the stinkier and smellier one.

Awoo blocks most of them unless you follow them so… lol. And I think that’s a better idea than flat-out rejecting them.

I feel like the federation part of Misskey was very slapped on. IIRC it was an afterthought while Pleroma and maybe Mastodon, don’t take my words on it, had it from the get-go.

During the attack on Pawoo, Shadowferret had to block that instance entirely while Awoo set its media policies to reject images from Pawoo while accepting everything else. There wasn’t actually anything bad coming into Awoo from there, thankfully.
