     It used to be that you could append a search result for “best whatever” with “reddit” to get some human results, especially with subreddits like r/BuyItForLife. Too bad the CEO decided to be an arrogant shit and make the site worse for everyone.

     And even that has its limits when the culture of the community that revolves what you’re asking for doesn’t like the question in hand. Two months ago I wanted to get a PC built for me by a reputable manufacturer. I have issues with my mental health which means I couldn’t spend £2k+ on components and risk breaking them and having all that money down the drain. There were a lot of people asking this question on Reddit but they always had the PC builders replying “build it yourself” and not actually answering the question.
