And It's just January. This is turning out to be a wild year.

@PurpCat@clubcyberia.co this is why I stuck with Misskey instead of a fork. Misskey has had a longer cook time, and has code contributors that seem to have a decent track record. (Even if I don't like some of the changes they implement.) Plus being that they are Japanese they are less likely to insert politics into their projects.

@arcanicanis@were.social True, but Japan as a nation tends to be more socially conservative. They may end up sliding down the same path that western nations have gone, but I think it will be delayed somewhat.
