@aral as a non-coding person with multiple learning issues (esp., dyscalculia and dyslexia) I always struggled with markdown editors that tossed up a second window purely for rendering. It simply makes my brain go bat shit crazy. It wasn't until I discovered Typora (and later markText) with live rendering in edit mode that I fell in love with markdown. I'm not sure I am your target audience, but it would be super cool if the user could edit from that preview window instead of the unrendered one

I love FOSS but I definitely think people like Stallman are way out of touch with regular people. I've even been told I shouldn't be using Linux because I'm not a software engineer by one of the developers at a previous job!

@dansup Am i losing my mind or didn't you introduce a change to allow editing posts with the ability to change the media itself? I tried it about a week or so ago but now I see it's not working anymore. Was it removed for some reason? I can see where it could be abused, so I would understand if it were removed.
