@atomicpoet@lauren@fediversenews I like the effect, but I wonder if it would make more sense for the *key apps to disable Markdown rendering (or *key-specific Markdown rendering at least) from posts that came from Mastodon, so that they can be viewed as the author intended.

@colin_mcmillen has created a Mastodon client for Apple II! It was developed and tested on an Apple IIc, and uses an external Raspberry Pi for stripping SSL, parsing JSON, and converting charsets. It's fully features and even supports displaying images!
