A lot of Americans might like to become part of a new Southern province of Canada. Universal healthcare, greater life expectancy, lower infant mortality, gun control, and an education system that actually educates and creates literate young adults. It's a good place to start. That and the fact that we're not ruled by President Musk, his tubby sidekick and a bunch of lobbyists.

We should share this idea with our US neighbours. Then we can teach them how to spell.

I had a job at an aviary when I was 13, and as the youngest staff member had the unwelcome job of feeding the eagle owls. I swear I took my life in my hands every time I had to walk into their huge cage laden down with their favorite morsels.

I was eventually fired for teaching the cockatoo to say the boss was a tosser.

It was worth it.
