it's a real fun idea, but in reality, we don't have receptors for psychedelics to begin with. they're just doing their own regular function related to normal brain behavior which just so happens to be for brain behavior related to sight or whatevs. what happens after that is usually through testing for something unrelated, it's discovered that a newly invented or discovered chemical just so happens to fit one or more of the existing receptor sites and affect us in an unusual way.

@Polychrome oh i can see it to be with a friend for sure. being with a friend can be its own fun without anything else, so, if a game can at least enable that, it's good enough for a lot of people that play games together. these however, appear to be largely referring to the gameplay itself and what they like about it in their reviews, none mentioned that the majority of their playtime was anything but solo play lol it's mysterious

wow there's some steam users with some terrifying amounts of hours in really shitty garbage f2p mmos oh my god lol. like i'm talking anywhere from 1.5k to almost 30k hours. like how. maybe i could see that in a game that was like, amazing, a classic, something you could play over and over, but this is like a barely taped together trash throwaway bargain bin money farm for a korean company.

the cyberpunk dlc decides to make sure to copy the original by saying, "oh yeah, cyberpunk genre in 2020 means gentrified misery porn. so be sure to do that with no alternatives or changes from different choices!"

it's better than the original ones sure, but still makes no sense and is forcefully anchored down for no reason despite the control you had prior to the "final mission"/ending.

once again, doesn't make much sense and is overtly depressing for very few appropriate reasons. the game is now at where it should've been at launch in terms of gameplay and playability, but still leaves you wanting for so much more. possibly the downside of trying to provide the illusion of choice in a videogame rpg while also having the same impactful endings that vaguely work for everyone?

but as someone that never cared much to try witcher, makes me wonder why they were able to write that so effectively and to critical acclaim but then miss the satisfying landing for this game so hard. also, only 4 romance options, 1 for straight and 1 for gay for male and female V with only the most boring straight option being the only faithful one feels so bad too lol

@DMX yeah, right? i always had the presumption as a kid that it was because she wasn't whimsical like pooh and tigger and such so she didn't get a unique name and just got called rabbit but i dont know if that was ever actually elaborated on
