“Speaking as a Foo” is reductionistic abuse of one’s person. Identity is a tropification of the complexity of the inner world which truly constitutes a person. Ascription may have true bases; catagorical sets exist. But to make a cult of that is just like McDonald’s is to food: a crude simulacrum of personhood vacuous of meaning.

The USA is by most asylum treaty law considered a “safe” country. Until some country steps up with emergency legislation to disavow that, Americans are fucked.

$4m is chump change for infotech capitalists, a few bucks tossed to a pan handler. That they won’t fund #WWC anymore isn’t an economic decision, but palpably a policy priority toward a hard social rightward turn.

Provoked by a dollop of hopeful shame, there are times I still wonder if I’m “on the spectrum”. Then something about human society wallops me right into “Yes. Yes, I really am so bloody autistic.” No matter how consummately I try to emulate, anticipate, script, conscript, or model it… neurotypical human social brouhaha is a game I can never ever really play at, never mind win.

I’m too old to really care to try anymore. So… cheers to us. 🥂
