@sickburnbro They don't get, fundamentally, that the big house and nice gf and status in society are all really a side effect and reward for doing something, not just as a job, but dedicating ones life to a pursuit that is a matter of life and death. They want the money like they want toys or candy. It's like being a basketball player or instagram thot for them.

I don't believe any of this "Russia is crap once you get five miles out of Moscow" stuff. Okay a peasant living five kilometers from the kazakh border doesn't have running water, so has to use a latrine and get water from the river or a well. Sounds better than ever having to see a nigger again.

the reason the poles get so antsy is they are a legitimate noble race of Europe and they don't like being talked down to. I don't think it has anything to with hating Russians or Germans as people it's that they don't like being talked down. If they got a legitimate role in a future European order they'd be quite content to bash turkish heads all day until the sun came down.
They were the best fighters per man of Europe until the 19th and 20th century. They kept an empire which spanned an indefensible territory for hundreds of years on their sheer exemplary ability as horsemen. They even fought as competent guerillas into the 18th century and organized the continental cavalry corp during the revolution.

There was a really fun social club (place where guys get together and chat over a drink) and the joke was all of their wives hated the club but one woman confessed to me on the verge of tears that she really did and I can’t figure out why.
