    The only way to love the color of your face is to hate it. Any refusal to do so automatically means that you hate all those other colors so much that it makes everyone around you hate you back.

And then there's that silly scene where they shoot at buffalo from a train, loosely keeping track of the order of magnitude of buffalo they're killing, all for their own entertainment or something.

    @Moon Naming things is an exercise in self-discipline, like managing your file system and stuff like that, so that's a you problem, I believe.

    And then, error handling is one of the most important things a programming language should be doing well. I like the try/catch blocks in "modern" high level languages, but I also like C for the weird reason that it does error handling in the same half-assed way it seems to be doing anything else outside of translating to as little machine code as possible. I was unaware of Elixir's apparent shortcomings in that area, though, so thanks for the cruising altitude overview.

    @NEETzsche Of course. I don't think this isn't even remotely the plan. The plan all along was the mental reframing and web of half-truths that make people receptable to the FUD spread by those "experts".

    If you're still inside the matrix, you're going to blame the virus, climate change, irresponsible extremists and all these dangers that the media and politicians try to protect you from on an ongoing basis.
