@ic7@frogs.lgbt the people buying modern pop music releases on vinyl at walmart are not doing it because of some alleged sound quality benefit, but instead because it's one of the last vestiges of media having any kind of physical tangibility, in a world where things getting deleted from spotify is a real threat. half (literally, iirc) of the people buying it don't even have the means to play it

my follow request backlog got to the point where it was unmanageable (literally, trying to scroll down the list would keep loading the same few over and over) so i deleted all 236 of them from the db. if you sent me a follow request and i didn't accept, feel free to send another. still no guarantee i'll accept, but hopefully it will now at least be possible to accept...
