    I don't know why but I feel more connected to the old design. Every icon - the discover, the profile, direct message, etc. is better in the old one. Even look at Mastodon's icon on the right side. They're boxy, squarish, rectangular. Feels like it has a strong personality.

    @libreoffice Add ability to select multiple images & frames. Add ability to move frames with a table inside, with Alt+Arrow Keys.

    @dansup Nope. Looks like another pinterest like app. The current Pixelfed has better character & weight.

    LibreOffice shouldn't treat Frames and Tables as Text. It's really head scratching to work with Frames & Tables. Not very intuitive.

    In MS Word you do whatever you want to do with Frames and Tables.

    Table inside a frame is absolutely crazy to work with in Writer.

    In the second photo I deleted the last column inside a but instead of deleting it just merges.

    Am I crazy?

    I love LibreOffice. I've ditched MS Office 2007 entirely.

    But but but I've a suggestion. I don't necessarily hate the syntax editor or whatever. It just makes me waste a lot of time.

    A WYSIWYG editor would be excellent - it'd save a lot of time. But keep the syntax option too.

    @dansup I haven't explored loops yet. You've done excellent job making alternatives for Instagram & Tiktok. But this is my suggestion - whatever you're doing make sure none of your platform becomes Addictive. Best of Luck. And thanks for the Good work.

    Resizing a frame and working with table inside a frame shouldn't be this hard. It doesn't even understand what I'm trying to do - whether I want to select and move or resize the frame or want to work with table.

    LibreOffice specially 'Writer' needs a lot of polishing.

    @libreoffice
    Thanks for existing in the first place.

    But horrible user experience.
    UI is terrible. I tried making a table inside a frame in Writer, - tried to resize the frame by pulling the left, right, top & bottom sides it just didn't allow. When I clicked on the text inside the frame, it just didn't activate. Intuitive? User-friendly?

    What a cluttered UI & usability - it's just isn't flexible according to the user's intent.

    A long way to go...

    @GIMP
    Why is GIMP so un-intuitive?
    Why can't layers on GIMP just act normal. The path tool - Fill path and Stroke path doesn't work properly. Why can't things just be normal with GIMP?

    See the two SS is the result. Then I got to know that using the upper insert < object < formula object, one can insert math formula. Why can't the insert tab behave as one?

    Moreover the OLE Object inserted in the second SS, it cannot be deleted using neither delete button, backspace or right clicking on the mouse. Intuitive?

    Sorry for "Pain in the ass" and thanks for existing in the first place. I tried the Tabbed interface. Yet it isn't much intuitive, whether you consider the fact or not. But UI can be polished & organised more.

    e.g. If I am to insert a formula, I should be able to do it using the insert tab right? But but in tabbed interface there is two Insert option and it's just confusing to insert math formulas or whatever using OLE Object using the lower Insert tab

    What is the point if I need to spend countless hours to learn LibreOffice Writer yet feel unusable? Why can't the UI be just much more intuitive, organised and usable and not a pain in the ass?

    Why does LibreOffice feel so unintuitive? The UI if so confusing. It seems like utter chaos. Noting seems organised at least for begginers.

    We do need tiktok alternative but I think none of these short-video platforms should've exist in the first place. These 30s short video platform's are ruining everything including our attention span.
    Pixelfed & Mastodon is good.
