Something one needs to be aware of when on HRT and growing out your breasts. That you're increasing your risk of this type of cancer, besides the ones they already cause.

Of course, growing out your breasts increases your risk of breast cancer to begin with by virtue of having larger breasts.

Cigarettes or the nicotine in them, can mess with your estrogen intake.
Nicotine reduces hunger, which can be an issue if you're trying to feminize and your body isn't getting the nutrients to work with.

While alcohol can mess with your liver's ability to metabolize the estrogen in your body, skewing your hormone levels. As it's focusing on the alcohol.
Alcohol can increase enzymes that convert your testosterone to estrogen.
It might be tempting to booze up, to get your estrogen up but it's not going to give you enough estrogen to do anything with and you'll still have testosterone-dominance in your body without proper medications.

Some trans-specific things to consider with these drugs.
Generally avoiding these is best for best results with your HRT.

Trans men get testosterone monotherapy.

There's different risk to high estrogen levels compared to testosterone. Estrogen in by itself usually isn't enough on prescribed doses to suppress testosterone production. That's why we get antiandrogens. :sariawat:

There's already risks and side effects of taking antiandrogens. I'm wondering if i would feel better on monotherapy and ditch the antiandrogens for good. :02learn:

Have you been on estrogen+antiandrogens and are now on monotherapy. Felt any differences?

Food is culture, food is identity.

White people will freak out, sometimes strongly over the food you eat, the way you eat it, the way you prepare it.

It's no different than any other kind of discrimination.

And this one hurts in an unique way.

White people can sorta understand not to show this racism towards people of color.
But then they'll turn around and show this exact same racism to other people, countries, or cultures that they think are fair game.

This is often the case with British food.
Ignoring that not all Brits are white and that this is the same exact behavior.
The exact same racism, targeting someone else.

Someone will still get hurt and the white person hasn't learned anything, they haven't changed.
Their racism persist.
