@Tengu@snug.moe I believe in trans healthcare here they forced people to first quit smoking before starting HRT because it was believed to have dangerous side effects. I'm not sure if they still do that, this was like 10 years ago.

Cigarettes and alcohol are both carcinogenic.
And can both lead to breast cancer.

Something one needs to be aware of when on HRT and growing out your breasts. That you're increasing your risk of this type of cancer, besides the ones they already cause.

Of course, growing out your breasts increases your risk of breast cancer to begin with by virtue of having larger breasts.

Cigarettes or the nicotine in them, can mess with your estrogen intake.
Nicotine reduces hunger, which can be an issue if you're trying to feminize and your body isn't getting the nutrients to work with.

While alcohol can mess with your liver's ability to metabolize the estrogen in your body, skewing your hormone levels. As it's focusing on the alcohol.
Alcohol can increase enzymes that convert your testosterone to estrogen.
It might be tempting to booze up, to get your estrogen up but it's not going to give you enough estrogen to do anything with and you'll still have testosterone-dominance in your body without proper medications.

Some trans-specific things to consider with these drugs.
Generally avoiding these is best for best results with your HRT.
