I was nervous about my Sign Language class because it's an intro-level course and that means youths looking for an easy A. However, most of the folks seem genuinely interested in accessibility, know/love someone who is deaf, or are obsessed with linguistics.

I feel like Jesus would spend all of fifteen seconds here before he got on the phone and ordered another flood.

I'm looking for some really scary literature on the effects of AI use on the brains of the youths to assign in the opening module of a college-level composition course.

The point is the terror because next semester, I'm not playing these "redo the assignment" games. It's a zero and a referral to the Writing Center the first time, and failure of the class and a referral to student affairs the second time. Full stop.
