Democrats won in 2020 by being the pro-science candidate which promised to deal with Covid. Then they broke their promises, spread misinformation & allowed Covid to spread out of control. Instead of modeling good public health, Democrats lost this as an issue, allowing Trump's brand of anti-science to win.

There will be no good outcome in today's election regardless of which duopoly party wins unless you support more wars, less freedom, and think allowing Covid to spread out of control is a good idea.

Between Trump's treatment of women and insults to other groups, and Harris' unwillingness to separate herself from Biden's policies (including genocide), it continues to feel like both candidates are trying to lose.

A Harris win likely means more die from US wars and a far more dangerous move towards authoritarianism than is likely if Trump wins. Both are terrible but a union of so-called centrist Democrats and neocons is even scarier.
