@gbraad Well, Red Hat is a US-based company... So is Intel, AMD, and countless other necessary companies. Moving on from companies, the GNU Project was started in the USA... many free software developers live in the USA and are hurting all over,. => Adding more hurt isn't necessarily the best strategy. I'd say it's better to tell people to actually join a political movement of their choice, and get active making it better. US Dems and Reps have been ruinous for a few decades.
@luisfcorreia hey, Luis, if even RHEL has already been using NFT for some time, don't get surprised by that obsolescence in Fedora, the world moves on regardless of our old timer preferences. Of course, if all the like-minded old timers got together and maintained those tools in Fedora, things could be different... :)
Caro Pedro Dias do Público: art.
Concordo se assim for.
@euronews@sci-tech-euronews they should ban sugars and transfats, instead they are demanding sugar every day, and recommending beans and sunflower oil. I predict obesity will increase.
This is what laws restricting speech because "nobody can be offended" lead to.
Even if this leads into nothing, just the troubles alone provide a chilling effect on speech.
The answer to bad speech is not less speech. It's *more* good speech. And if you think otherwise, let me tell you right now: you'd look pretty comfy around white nationalists and neo Nazis.
@gbraad The positioning of commercial is not FUD, but "oh no, it's commercial" (it's a foundation), "it's open source, not something private or controlled by then", "anybody can join" (implying by omission a group, but that's not true), that *is* FUD.
