@sl007 my RubyWorld keynote in Japan next month will talk about this in the context of decentralisation as well. I agree that finding ways to collaborate, and doing so broadly and globally, is very important.
BTW I have my Fediverse Explorer poster from digital.courage ready to hang in my home office now! 👍🏻
@methoddan@FLOSS_Weekly yes, and I think that's probably a great place for that to happen (in a client app, with the user able to adjust, rather than baked in to every instance).
@methoddan@FLOSS_Weekly Phanpy (https://phanpy.social - PWA) has a catchup feature. There are also Murmel and Fediview, which offer different methods of doing something similar.
Well, I thought #OggCamp2024 was great. Thanks in particular to the team and crew for making it happen, and thanks to the community for keeping the spirit of #OggCamp alive, and sharing it again this weekend.
My blog is a good way to keep up with what I’m up to, and has links to other places you can find me online between now and OggCamp.Next.
Considering some blog migration options. Probably time to get over to a static site generator (aka right back to where I started). I am, however, more than a little concerned about the scale of the migration task.
I am working on a Trunk & Tidbits post covering last month’s engineering efforts (to post later in the week), and also a post about key changes for developers in 4.3 (likely to be published next week).
The _draft_ stage schedule for #OggCamp has been released (although, of course, the majority of content comes from YOU, the attendees, in the unconference itself). More to come. Got your ticket yet? Join us! https://oggcamp.org/news/schedule/
