@dansup I’m being noisy about this because it’s crazy annoying — the instagram importer adds posts/photos as unlisted, they can’t be edited, and they don’t show up in Portfolio. 🐳😩

@evan I’m reading the AP S2S docs, wondering if there’s a batch API - since I thought of it I assume the AP WG did too? :) Is there - and if not, why not - an API to batch up a bunch of activities for delivery to another server?

Following up on @timbray ’s recent post re: algorithms [1]: I’m very much in favor of selectable algorithm-based moderation tools:

- track federated timeline and warn of a rise in asshole behaviors
- track moderation actions (block/de-federate) and suggest similar accounts/servers to keep an eye on
- track reports and learn how to recognize both accounts that _should_ be moderated, and accounts that are “malicious reporters”
