Following up on @timbray ’s recent post re: algorithms [1]: I’m very much in favor of selectable algorithm-based moderation tools:

- track federated timeline and warn of a rise in asshole behaviors
- track moderation actions (block/de-federate) and suggest similar accounts/servers to keep an eye on
- track reports and learn how to recognize both accounts that _should_ be moderated, and accounts that are “malicious reporters”
