@rosey @prettygood It felt a bit like lightning in a bottle for s1, I'm not sure I'm confident in s2, or that it even needed to get made.

@kaia @mezzodrinker Usually tab completes what it can that is common between the two, printing the two file names that are ambiguous. Then I type the disambiguating character to select between the two, then tab again to complete it.

Man, I don't like Google Pixel any more, but I don't really like most other Android phones or iPhone either. It's gonna suck getting a new phone next time I need one.

@sapphire @prettygood Yeah, multiple rounds of interviews and tests and things like that, and the "fit" meetings are often towards the end.

I've had it the other way around once, funny enough - at a prior job prospect. I was talking to the person who would have been my manager, and I really did not like him, so I didn't move forward with the application lol. I guess the only solace is knowing it can work both ways, if you're in a position to push back (like if you already have a job and are just hunting for something better).

Still, it feels really inefficient, the whole job interview process.

@prettygood I'm assuming we're in a similar career from past posts. After years of this shit, it's getting harder and harder to jump through all these hoops to get a job. What a crap interview process this all is... :blobcatMeltTears:

@prettygood Yeah dude I saw some of your posts and it sounds like you're having a pretty bad time of it... Mine comes and goes, right now it's only kinda bad (just got handed off another on-fire project though, it seems the way we handle things is "let someone try until they fail then pass the buck to someone else for a turn", kinda fucked).
