@kaia MariMari is hilarious. Not really watching a lot of streamers lately, but she's one I'd definitely watch. The only reason I didn't in the past is she used to primarily be a twitch streamer, and I kinda hate that platform.
Fuku is so cheerful and happy that - despite believing it's bad luck - she worries that it's possible she might whistle for joy at night, and advises her trainer against it just in case they might be tempted to do the same. :blobcatAww:
@mia@snacks Love the design of the diffuse keycaps with the backlight colors! I prefer pretty simple nowadays, hardly even having backlights. But maybe I'll add it back in someday.
@mia@snacks Oh, the touchpad is interesting too - I use the keys themselves to control the mouse, but occasionally I do want for something a tad smoother. That's not a bad idea. I'll have to keep it in mind for future builds.
@snacks I kinda knew the layout I wanted and that I had wanted specifically the 36-key variant, luckily.
My early days of custom keyboard layouts was with a Moonlander, which is expensive but at least nice in that you can easily experiment with different layouts. (And a nice on-ramp for fewer keys, I thought.)
So today I told my boss that I'm planning to leave, and gave it a deadline of "by end of year". Though I did tell them that I may leave sooner if I find a job.
The conversation actually went pretty well, and it was a huge weight off my shoulders to start the hand-off process.
To their credit, the work may be terrible, but I think they're doing a good job with my request to leave the company. They even seem to be leaving the door open in case I change my mind and want to stay.
So, I still don't like the work, I'll still be looking for other jobs, but it's been kind of nice to know that it won't be a "burning bridges" situation on the way out.
@rosey@prettygood I'm a little worried about bocchi s2, didn't it get passed off to someone else because they originally were inspired for the one season but didn't know if they could do a good job continuing past the ideas they had for s1?
I post translations of Azumanga Daioh every Friday, and I occasionally post other things as well.Feel free to follow and interact! I speak English primarily, but I can speak some simple conversational Japanese as well.#nobots #yesbun
