@waifu @Suiseiseki @cell A lot of people take issue with how it was introduced to the web more than anything, I think. So it got off to a controversial start.

My experience is that it is *usually* better than JPEG in terms of compression to quality ratio, and supports a wide array of use cases. However, I have observed times where WebP underperforms and delivers worse, so it's a bit of a mixed bag. Admittedly, it's usually in WebP's favor though.

This week is kind of another fail for productivity and health for me. But I haven't slipped too far, it's still correctable, I just gotta be careful. :blobcatFearful:

Sometimes, it feels like my job is just a "we will make you feel miserable and then give you money" loop.

Nothing can be done "on time" because all the deadlines are so tight and they're all decided before anyone even knows what it takes to build. So everything is always "late", so every discussion with management is preparing to apologize for being late again.

I wish I had data for how often this were the case here, because I have a hard time believing that it's not incredibly frequent. And if it's not then holy shit maybe I am not cut out for this place.

I plan on leaving, but I wanted to try to stay for a few more years just to pad the resume and get a bit more of a financial buffer in the bank. But some days are just harder than others I suppose.

I think after work today, I'm just gonna play Deltarune instead of work on my programming project. It's not every day a new chapter drops.

Ugh, I don't wanna write more unit tests. :blobcatDead:

@kaia lmao it never ceases to amaze me how confidently he can talk about something he obviously has only a tenuous grasp on at best. What a dipshit.

So, after having my new chair for a week, I've noticed that I definitely don't sit in a way that's good for my arms. So the ergonomic chair keeps my arms happy but hurts my back, and the regular chair keeps my back happy and hurts my arms. :blobcatShrugSmirk:

Making good progress today, gonna take a break and go on a walk, then make dinner, then I'll pick it back up.

It's very cool and neat that my body decided it was time to wake up before it has gotten a full night's sleep. :blobcatBaka:
