🤔 @leitmedium
@apps Thanks for your support. It resets every time, when leaving the screen (I know you preiously said it's just an interface flaw - but maybe not?). I got 3.29.2 from Google play installed
@apps Sorry to still bother you, but i logged out of my instance in the connection screen, then logged in again in the connection screen (after selecting my instance).
@apps I uninstalled fedilab from within F-Droid, I uninstalled F-Droid, I installed fedilab from Google play and opened it. I still was logged in, in fedilab from Google play. (This feels kind of strange).
So I deleted the complete storage data from the Google Play App, uninstalled fedilab, shut off my phone, restarted it, installed fedilab again.
RESULTS: - I'm still logged in inside of fedilab. - I'm still not getting push notifications.
@apps@serdarsem@jotaluis I did this just now. To no success. Still not getting notifications after that (sent a couple of messages from @raefulsi to me).
Strangely I didn't get notifications via tusky anymore. When I uninstall ntfy and tusky, then reinstall tusky I get notifications again.
I'm cancelling this now. And will just wait for the beta version in google play. Hopefully it will work there. Or do I need ntfy as well with google play?
@apps Remove ALL ntfy records in ntfy or what do I have to do? (Still not getting notifications in fedilabs while they are working in tusky, just checked to be sure) @serdarsem@jotaluis
@apps I managed to install 3.29.0 from F-Droid but now it tells me I need a service for push notifications. When clicking on the FAQ link in the message, it takes me to a 404 page https://fedilab.app/docs/fedilab/features 😭
@BeAware@treefit Yes, that's easy to understand, thanks for the explanation.
Basically this means, I/my instance only sees comments in a thread, from people that are "known" to my instance (because someone on my instance is following them) or they have an account on my instance. Otherwise I have to take a look at the original post on the original instance.
Right?
PS: I suppose some apps (maybe #Fedilab) initially pull all comments together from all instances. But I'm not 100% sure.
