HIFW has become one of the most common text abbreviations in funny, sarcastic memes and gifs on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Another example with the full words is also frequently used in blogs and FB posts.

SSDD – Same stuff, different day
QQ – Crying
For me, the origin of QQ abbreviation is really surprising. According to Urban Dictionary, at first, QQ meant to quit the game Warcraft II by pressing the hotkey Alt+QQ. Hence, when a player started whining, others offered him to QQ. Soon, it was associated with crying eyes and used in texting and tweeting as well.

It is sometimes confused with GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test); however, those who have gone through that painful preparation to exam could always tell the difference. The abbreviation, which refers to the common way of thinking, has become mainstream and even placed as a print on cups, pillows, shirts, etc.
AYMM – Are you my mother?
CWOT – Complete waste of time
Disclaimers AYMM – Are you my mother?
CWOT – Complete waste of time
Disclaimers IANAL – I am not a lawyer
Next time you share any law-related advice in a public chat, put IANAL or its analogue TINLA (This is not legal advice) so that you are not accused of unlicensed consultation. In the U.S. and other countries, even a small recommendation on how to deal with your assets or running a divorce case can be regarded as unauthorized law practice.

TL;DR – Too long; didn’t read
You can reply with this abbreviation not only to emphasise how long the post is but also to explain that you’ve been too lazy to read and just ignored it. Which is why TL;DR also means Too lazy; didn’t read. Later, it gave birth to ToS; DR (Terms of service; didn’t read). As you may know, many people skip studying this part of a website because of the complex law terms and long sentences.

@blaue_Fledermaus No, I honestly don't understand what the stigma is about this given the context. I would understand if she had committed violent crimes, if people had been raped or killed by her in these robberies because human life is priceless. But she didn't rob people. She robbed a bank. If a bank is robbed, it can refund the money of those who had money stored in it, which is unlikely because given the amounts, the money was not stolen from small accounts. And it will hardly go bankrupt because of this and leave its employees unemployed. In fact, if someone is left without compensation, it is mostly the bank's or the state's fault. That's just what I don't understand. If she had tortured someone I would understand, if she had killed a civilian, not a soldier, and raped someone I would understand. If she took money by force from workers and peasants. But feeling sorry for a bank!? Sorry, just wanted to comment.
@blaue_Fledermaus No man, most people don't idolize Dilma Rousseff. But they feel genuine admiration for her. There are people who idolize her. I'm not one of them, because for me she did a lot of shit during her government like those terrible reforms. But robbing a bank during the military dictatorship to pay for resistance to a government that tortured and murdered hundreds of people is not one of those mistakes! She would be considered a criminal if we were still in the military dictatorship. This is literally rhetoric that people who defend the military regime use!? This is not being moderate.
Primeiro a @Lori e agora você!
