That said, the war in Ukraine started because the United States wanted to put weapons in Ukraine that could reach Moscow in a very short time. NATO has been expanding into Eastern Europe. Furthermore, this is not a war between fascist dictatorships and progressive democracies. Today's Ukraine is a fascist regime, most left-wing parties and organizations are currently illegal there, and they pay homage to several Nazis who killed even Jewish Ukrainians during World War II. Even so, this war needs to end because it is undeniable that this conflict is bad for Ukraine.
